here is my top ten for 2011 :

「revolution in the head 邦題：ビートルズと60年代」を読むことで
再発見したビートルズの音楽
● kaa antilope, max and malcolm などすばらしい80年代の音楽を発見したこと。
● タウンズ・ヴァン・ザントの音楽・歌詞を聴くこと。
● 読書
音楽について書かれた本（アラン・ロマックスの「ブルーズの起源」）
詩（俳句、ウィリアム・ブレイク、ウォルト・ホイットマン、
エミリー・ディッキンソン）
漫画（ハイメ・エルナンデスの"love and rockets"）
● 編み物の学習そして編み物をしながら音楽を聴くこと。
（すばらしい組み合わせ！）
● 以前はイーストでパン生地を発酵させていたのですが
今は自然発酵させてパンを作っています。
まったくちがうし、おいしいです。
- living by the sea throughout the year for the first time in my life
- working on making my music again
- having the time to practise my instruments and in particular learn the piano
- listening to my record collection again, especially old blues and jazz
- rediscovering the beatles' music through reading

- discovering great eighties music (kaa antilope, max and malcolm)
- listening to townes van zandt's music and lyrics
- reading books on music (alan lomax "the land where the blues began"),
poetry (haiku, william blake, walt whitman, emily dickinson),
comic strips (jaime hernandez "love and rockets")
- learning to knit and listening to music while knitting - a great combination !
- creating a natural leaven and making bread
(i used to make bread with yeast,
and making it with leaven is totally different and so much nicer !)
